Fans' Forum

by Y21_Royal » 14 Jul 2009 12:44

I know its still very early days but I'm wondering if there are any plans for a Fan's Forum with the new management team.

It'd be a great opportunity for us to welcome them to the club and to hear what they've got planned. Although I appreciate that they're probably a little busy at the moment!

Yes, this will be on August 27th - Brendan Rodgers has confirmed he will attend.

Further details later, but that date is now definite.

They're clearly busy buying all these new players at the moment.

Yes they are, its very difficult to make £184.87p, a free bus ride to the stadium and a bag of peanuts sound attractive enough for players to sign.

They will not be as comprehensive as being there and being able to ask the questions as it is a benefit of being a STAR member. However there will be notes published once we get time to get them written up.

Will BR still be there tomorrow?

Would be interesting to get Nicky Hammond along as well.

Absolutely.

There's a very outside chance of that happening but I'd not count on it.

No worries.

It starts at 8 pm with the STAR AGM (a legal necessity that takes less than half an hour), and the Fans' Forum starts immediatley after that.

It's STAR members only but anyone can join on the night, so allow a few minutes for the paperwork - alternatively, speed the process up by downloading the membership form here and pre-filling it in.

Questions can be asked on the night or can be e-mailed in to info@star-reading.org But if you're not there you won't get to hear the answer, of course.

Never bothered before - but then I've never felt quite as pissed off with the club as I do at the moment.

In.

There's nothing like a spot of "trouble at mill" to get people out.

Think this is the first one we've had really where serious questions will be asked about the club and its ambition...

At time of writing we have over 40 questions submitted, including ones on all of those topics, as well as on specific players.

We probably won't have enough time to ask all of them - as well as having questiosn from the floor - but certainly we will make sure that several of the questions on each topic are asked.
