Served his time (or as much as he was required to serve) and released. Not difficult really.

When Lee Hughes scores, he does that stupid dance. However, in my view, he shouldn't be out of prison.

He should still be in prison. How can you be released for killing 2 people, so early on?

It was manslaughter rather than murder.

Also they were very old people so didn't have long to live anyway which always reduces the sentence.

1 person wasn't it, not excusing him at all mind you.

I was thinking the same thing on Sunday, fair play, done his time but i think he should have a bit of respect for the family of the victim.

It is still murder.

The dance, summed up the horrible character he is. How disrespectful is it to the families of the victims, to see him doing a stupid dance, when he should be in prison, serving his time.

No it isn't. If you kill people over 70 then its automatically reduced to a manslaughter charge because the victims don't have long left and the time they do have will invariably involve them being a burden to society. Of course you won't find anyone in the government to admit this.

In my view, he should be in prison. Different people have different views. It's the same as Luke McCormick. These footballers don't have the right to play football again, because they blew there chance when they commited a terrible crime.

OK to be serious for a minute. What do you suppose someone should be able to do having served their sentence?

So everyone that goes to prison should come out and remain unemployed for the rest of their life? - yeah that'll work :?

But he did serve his time.........how is doing a dance disrespectful to the family? - its not as if he's doing it whilst lifting up his shirt to reveal a t-shirt saying "LOLZ"

What i meant was, that as a professional footballer, your setting an example to thousands of people, including young children. Drink-Driving is not setting a good example. It should be an honour to be a footballer.

I didn't mean that people who come out of prison, have to live with the burden of their sentence for the rest of their lifes. But Lee Hughes is a professional footballer. I feel that he should not be on the pitch. He had the chance to be a footballer and he blew it by commiting a serious crime.

So all drink-drivers should forfeit that right then or just those involved in fatal accidents? What about those that aren't over the limit but speed?
