Nice try. TBF, I think that he has been fairly anonymous apart from a header in the last five minutes.

I didn't even realise he was playing until the end of the half :|

He's been typical James Harper.

And if you think we got rid of him for footballing reasons. then TBF Ideal you're even more stupid than first feared.

Great game of football tbf. I would be quite happy to watch games of this standard every week.

I see Sheff UTD are still a dirty team, how many of their team have been yellow carded now?

Hell yeah, maybe if our players played with half the effort these guys put in, we might just score a goal.

Ideal, the game we played on Wednesday was atleast as tense and exciting as that.

The biggest difference between us on Wednesday and the game tonight was the physicality of the Blunts forward line. Evans and Henderson were an absolute handful. What pressure did Rasiak and Hunt put on Cardiff?

Not enough, that's why we didn't score.

Ideal I was just watching Sheffield United v Sheffield Wednesday, and it seems Sheffield United have some kind of footballing genius running their midfield.
First I thought it was Juan Sebastian Veron, then I wondered if Edgar Davids had cut his hair, or if Vieira had returned to England.
Seems he plays with no.15 on his back.

Who is this man??

Are you kidding? He was hardly in the game. The one thing I noticed was a quick break, he picks the ball up and instead of playing wide and keeping the momentum going, he plays a sideways ball 10ft from him instead, and the opposition have time to reorganise. Same old same old.

He didnt arf point a lot last night.

I watched the whole game last night, and if that 1 single performance is anything to go by, we were 100% right in letting him go, he was totally and utterly anonymous.

i watched him closely last night, and although he didn't touch the ball much, he barely gave it away. ALways stayed with runners and always filled in. If we had anyone in midfield with that work ethic and positional sense i doubt we's concede as many goals

Sheff Utd nearly threw the game away because they had no control of the midfield :|

i wholeheartedly disagree. If he constantly tracked his man then why is it he appeared to be stood in acres of space in the midfield pointing to where other players who actually tried to get on the ball should pass? Also explain why he failed to make a meaningful tackle all game, if he was tracking his man and not tackling then thats a pretty poor job of marking in my book.

Harper did play well last night. Didn't set the world alight, but he's not that player.

Him and Montgumery (SP?) in the middle works well with there attacking players. Thought Ward looked a massive handful.

Sheff Utd are an effective side, like Preston, like Burnley, like Stoke. Effectiveness = Points at this level.

Still if Blades play too much with Andrew Davies at the back they won't be up to much.....

It's hardly surprising he didn't give the ball away if he barely touched it all game. Or is that comment deserving of a whoooooooooooooooooosh?

Dudes. I watched this game and Harper sucked man! He only touched the ball about 10 times through the whole game!
