RoyalBlue Maybe they are happy to let supporters buy via the web at pre-match day prices, even on the day of the game itself? Afterall, it takes the workload off the ticket office and no human intervention (at the club's end) is required.
Yep, I realise that if thousands of people bought on line at the last moment it might leave them short of stewards etc. but it's not really likely to happen.
