royalexile In hindsight i'm glad i never renewed. I've decided to ease back a little but i've decided this season is like an endurance test for me. We all knew it was the dying embers of an era but someones pissed on those embers.

working class hero So far this season I have been to 1 home game and 3 away - yet I have an ST. It isn't the losing that bugs me - or even crap football, most of us saw a lot of that in the past!
No I can't be bothered because we were ripped off. No mention of 'cutting cloth' or need for a mass exodus at the time of buying STs..... So why are we paying the 2nd highest ST price to watch a substandard team?
Next season I will watch the Royals at every away game and when they are at home I will watch either Reading Town or Oxford.
I am sick of RFC rip off prices and cunning little scams.

statto I've got a season ticket and I've always tried to go, but this year I'm really struggling.
My issue is a simple one - entertainment.
We used to play in an exciting way, pacy, quick pass and move, goals, wins, exciting.
Now it's just so BORING.
We have a load of players I don't know passing the ball around in circles before someone gives it away.
They also can't grind out a win, shit themselves when they go ahead and go for long periods of games without doing anything.
It's ok now, but the idea of a cold tuesday night scrap in February against someone rubbish is certainly not tantalising me at the moment.

Is that last statement true? If so, I'm now even more p*ssed off!

working class hero The best gesture I have seen of late was Burnley returning ST cash to those who bought before they were promoted. Sort of puts RFC doubling prices on promotion in a whole new perspective.
