Ideal I doubt that, they are afraid to sack him as he could claim they are sacking him because of his medical situation.
I hope Rodgers will go first.

Sun Tzu Certainly won;t be Rodgers.
Sturrock has to be odds on.

Rubbish.
His medical condition is irrelevant. Being ill doesn't mean you cannot be sacked if you are failing to perform your job. Of course it needs handling properly.
Rodgers simply isn;t on the list of possible sackings. The club aren;t as short sighted as some of the fans.

I would have Sturrock as the next sacked, and Keane can't have much longer either. Rodgers, although many seem to think he's some sort of Madejski love child, is very much on the rocks and as I mentioned recently, there is a lot of unrest at the club.

IdealSun Tzu blahblahblah Rodgers simply isn;t on the list of possible sackings. blah blah blah
That you repeat it over and over again does not make it true..
Ideal I say he is very much in danger of losing his job, out of the four next matches three of them are against teams that are in the top 5 in the FORM TABLE, and the last one is against Middlesbrough, which surely will not be an easy match either way.
Potentially we could notch up four straight losses, and it would be impossible for Rodgers to remain in the job if that happens.

winchester_royal Yep, because Coppell has such a great history of improving teams that are on the slide.

weybridgewanderer OK, you stick you head in the sand and believe that Rodgers job is not at risk along with those of Sturrock and Keano
by Ryn » 28 Sep 2009 10:48
howser No way will BR be sacked after paying watford a compensation fee, and with the "contract" payment he would have to pay BR there is no way that the tightarse would risk losing anymore money, he would rather see us at the bottom than dip into his shallow pockets !

You'd be amazed if there wasn;t some unrest.
We're not doing as well as we would want, we're not playing badly overall but can;t get the wins. There should be frustration ! There are players who would expect to be playing who aren;t and they will be unhappy - but that is the same at any club who insist on just selecting 11 in the side !!
