Forbury LionHow about this as an idea:Sun TzuRoyalBlue
Of course, as has been discussed before, they work their calculations on the basis that season ticket holders are able to attend every single game. I wonder just what percentage of season ticket holders are?
How else could they do it ?
You buy a ST for all games with a gaurantee that the club will buy back up to 5 games which you are unable to attend providing you notify them 2 weeks in advance. This will give them the chance to resell the ticket and they will have had the benefit of having your cash all season.
Might appeal to those who are put off buying a ST due to chances of missing games.
Alternatively, Why don't they just sell individual match tickets at the start of the season so you can buy in advance for a discount or have like the railways a monthly or quarterly ST.
I the club can;t sell the stadium out,why would they buy your seat back? Thats like buying 6 fillets from tesco and then taking 2 back beforethe best before date is up in the hope they can resell them
buy back schemes
1/ only pay you back when the club can sell on your seat to someone elese and non season ticket seats are sold
2/ they do not pay you back the fullprice of the seat so the club and you share the revenue f them selling the seat maybe £10. Why would the club incur the cost of reselling your seat without there being any additional money in it fo rthem
So while they sound a great idea, you are better off selling the seat to someone else yourself, especially if you live in the area!
