Good one.

Guess who we're going to draw in the 3rd round of the Cup come January?! Hope it's away!

Haven't been to the Rec since almost getting my head kicked in back in Autumn 72. Happy days, (or more appropriately daze  )

I wonder if he'll bring in Wally as coach and SC as DOF?

Pardon my ignorance, but how does he deserve a better team? He is an assistant manager making the step up to manager level. This a great opportunity for him at a club with limited expectations. Lets hope he does a better job there than he did in his time as caretaker manager here. Good luck Kevin, all the best,

Best of luck to him - a good servant to us. Can't help thinking he's not cut out to be a number one though.

If he gets Aldershot promoted he could well be back at the Madjeski next season.

Good luck to him, I think he's done the right thing to be honest, trying to cut his teeth at a lower level with the shots is a great way to find out whether he is cut out for the manager's job or not.

I wish him all the best.

Good Luck to him. He was a great 'servant' for RFC, as they say.

Really wish him luck, a no nonsense bloke who will hopefully do well

Ideal Oh God, this thread nearly had my hopes up. I thought for a second we had sacked Rodgers and appointed DIllon.

That got your hopes up? We're in a position where we need either Brendan Rodgers, or someone experienced. Not a risk appointment. His caretaker period was bad enough, and you were half excited he could be our new manager?
