TBM
Silver Fox So it was a free kick and Drogba didn't foul Brown and shouldn't have been flagged for offside then?

Free kick - yes
Foul on Brown - yes
Offside - no

If Drogba was stood infront of the keeper then yes but he didn't interfere with the ball or the keepers view

* interfering with play.

How? - didn't obstruct the keeper - didn't change the flight of the ball

But he waved his leg at the ball, which puts the keeper off, the classic example of interfering woth play without touching the ball.

NB I'll take this back if the offside laws have been changed again in the last hour

He's not actually off side.

Brown's on the floor playing him on.

How Brown got there is another debate....

papereyes I know its from the Saturday but Stuart Atwell impressed me on the MotD highlights.

I've got a vague memory of little Stewie fvcking something up at the weekend but I can't even remember which game was him , let alone what he did

City Burnley.

Early on, there was a crunching tackle between Jordon and Zabaleta and they squared up.

Trying to think what else he did or didn't do but can only remember Wayne Bridge being shit and my continued progression to looking like a ginger Graham Alexander.

I should have made myself clearer, I apologise. Interfering with the ball isn't the term the referee's use though, is it? isn't it 'interfering with play'?

Strange, but Fergie didn't make much mention of Johnny Whatsisname trying to give Drogba a heart transplant and Drogba being booked for it.
