Zammo Really pleased for Kits.

When ex-Reading players do well, it always makes me full of pride for RFC.

With you on this. It would make a change for a player to leave us and be successful.

Agree, always liked Kitson, real shame he had a terrible season last year.

Hopefully last year has taught him a little humility. He was a super player (and a much nicer person) before he achieved PL success with us - then his ego grew bigger and bigger....

Certainly in recent years we've not had many players achieve great success after leaving us - back in the day Sanchez, Webb and Dixon spring immediately to mind.

Just seen this online:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... rland.html

Can anyone shed any light on the issues he might have had? Sounds like it could have been more than just a big ego that caused his dip in form. If so, did Coppell know about these issues when he re-signed him on loan last year?

Didn't settle further North well. Girlfriend wasn't very happy up there and he'd not particulaly long before been convicted of drink driving.
Went into a pretty direct and not very good team, as a tall player who's game was not about the ball being lumped straight up to him.

Thought Claire Kitson was a bit more than a girlfriend, though I can understand her not being happy being near Stoke.

Sorry, my specialised subject isn't the marital status of Dave Kitson and his partner.

I had heard of something involving the girlfriend. You could see why it'd affect him.

I also, one Saturday, saw him traipsing around the Arndale looking a right miserable bastard.

I'd be miserable if I were a ginger in Manchester too.

Oh...

Joined Middlesbrough on a two-month loan today, brings him up to the January transfer window and I assume Middlesbrough will make a decision on whether to buy or not to buy.

That's two strikers 'boro have brought in on loan and RFC still have nothing.

Decent enough competition up front for them now until they are able to spend in January which i'm sure they will.

With Lita giving him a high 5 for one of the goals.
