Who decided on that list? I'm no expert but I very much doubt they are the worst ten players in the league.

I was surprised that they are all from the best clubs in the league. Its like saying the worst players in the prem play for Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

It's probably more to do with how bad they are to how when compared to their ability (i.e. the biggest underperformers).

I'm guessing that as it's 'worst performer', it's highlighting players who aren't putting in the performances expected of them. Therefore, Sonko wouldn't make it into the PL list, as everyone knows he has been crap for the past 2 years.

A list for the premier league would probably include the likes of Nani, Babel, Lescott, etc. of whom good things were expected, but they've failed to deliver (I'm judging Lescott here on City's continued inability to form a strong defence)

That's what I'd imagine.

Although one or two might be effective yet somewhat brutal players. Christian Poulsen isn't the greatest player in the world but he certainly adds something to most teams he plays for.

Which is why it is announced as 'worst performer' and not 'worst player'

I expect there are players who perform worse than Ronaldinho every week. I see the list is effectively chosen by fans of rival clubs though so there's a certain amount of gloating going on.

Quaresma won it last year as well, fairly surprised to see his career going down the toilet.
