Essien shoots, Hennessey punches the ball onto the bar

John Motson I think that'll have to go down as a save!!!

Thanks for that, now just oxf*rd off and retire!

Kakuta looked quality yesterday on MoTD. That cut inside for his first touch, there was another time he chested the ball down and played a great pass too...

Will he be worth the fuss? Has Mikel been worth the fuss?

Classic TalkSh!te pre-match B@ll@cks about the Chelsea v Wolves game from the Ginger
%^&$ Durham - building up what he thought would be Doyler's desire to 'settle scores' with the Frenchies in Chelski's ranks - whereas as of course 'our' Kev wasn't even on the bench!
(injured or rested??)

... and did anyone else notice the H/T Scoreb'd question at the MadStad yesterday re former Royals 'involved' in the WC P/O game - maybe I misread it or maybe they meant 'in the squad' - but did SHunt come on in either game?

Confess I didn't take much notice of the first leg but watched most of the second and didn't spot our former 'Duracell Bunny' making a bow?

The fact Ancellotti has come out and said the stuff he has about Kakuta, basically he's better than Kaka when he started at Milan, must mean he's pretty special.

Your not gonna say something like that about a kid if you don't think he has the ability to handle to pressure.

I still really like Mikel. Think he got fcuked by the people around him though. Never seems to have got his head quite right.

I'm a big fan of Mikel. He's had a few reds, but not all deserved. His temprement isn't great but will only improve with age. Quality player, good touch, good passer, quick, tough tackler. Massive too.
