Thank God. I care about Cheltenham. They are my local team and he has been an absolute disaster.

Poor bloke. Used to train under him at his soccer schools when he was at Reading, really nice guy. This false allegation has but stain on his CV and I honestly think he'll never get a job at Professional level after this.

Agree, will be hard to come back from this at a professional level, cleared or not.

Even forgetting the allegations against him, his tenure at Cheltenham was pretty woeful to be honest.

Martin Allen > Brendan Rodgers > Dean Austin.

And I quite like Martin Allen. Although I don't hugely rate him. Cheltenham will be back in the Conference soon enough as they thoroughly deserve to be.

.........and sometimes you just wish for a Mad Dog character to turn up to shake some life into our current (slow and reverse geared) regime

He WILL return to league management ...... as sure as moths are attracted to light bulbs ..... club owners are attracted to MA

....as an uneducated guess, ...................he will take a team like Barnet to the 1980's Wimbledon heights, before doing a mooney on live TV and getting a well deserved sacking

The FL needs more Martin Allens

Short shelf life in whatever club he's been at. Bit of a tosser in my opinion.

2 years max at a club is all he can get away with before his methods are exposed.

Short term impact can be very positive but players eventually lose respect for him. (Well, that's what happened at Reading anyway.)
