weybridgewanderer where is the outcry in the press like we had for henry?
Or does it not count because the ref wasn't conned and united didn't score?

It's quite an important factor given he got no advantage and was correctly penalised within the rules of the game.

An attempt to con the ref is an attempt to con the ref wether it was successful or not.

weybridgewanderer I am sure the ref woul dhave, however th emedia wanted him hung drawn and quartered. FIFA are reviewing and may give him a 2 match ban for unsporting behaviour.
why is it a yellow card if the ref gets it right and a potential 2 match ban if the ref gets it wrong?

Because he successfully got away with it and France are in the World Cup unfairly as a result?
