Rooney = Cheat

His dive on Saturday was blatant cheating but i find it strange that Spacey isn't calling for him to be banned/fined???! :?

Rooney has always dived, this is nothing new really, though it is a particularly comical dive.

shhhhhhhh he's not foreign so it doesn't count.

where is the outcry in the press like we had for henry?

Or does it not count because the ref wasn't conned and united didn't score?

It's quite an important factor given he got no advantage and was correctly penalised within the rules of the game.

An attempt to con the ref is an attempt to con the ref wether it was successful or not.

Yes, and he got penalised for it correctly by a free kick being awarded and a yellow card issued to him. Had the referee seen Henry, there'd have been a freekick and he'd have got a yellow card.

I am sure the ref woul dhave, however th emedia wanted him hung drawn and quartered. FIFA are reviewing and may give him a 2 match ban for unsporting behaviour.

why is it a yellow card if the ref gets it right and a potential 2 match ban if the ref gets it wrong?

Because he successfully got away with it and France are in the World Cup unfairly as a result?

really shouldn;t make a blind bit of difference, so if rooney had got the penalty, drew the game, and united went on to win the league buy a point would that merit a similar punishment? would that only be decided at the end of the season if it affected the outcome of the league?
