The people that matter hate him.

He did such a bad job at Fulham no one will touch him.

I think we're safe on that one.

FiNeRaIn I'll write my full review later but in a nutshell im quite sad. Yes he did poorly, but its never nice to see someone with affection for the club and the area leave after a stint like that. All I can ask in the mean time is that people don't throw the childish insults around, accept that he gave 100% ( which I believe he did) for the club but simply came up short and wish him well.
I think a lot of what he did was mis-read and some was naivety from a young manager. Please remain respectful even though his time here was a failure.

I shall be as respectful to Bodgers as he was to Dellor. Can't say fairer than that.

So long Bodgers and thanks for all the fish ... you billy big bollox loudmouthed gobshite tw@t.

That is all.

Sharpy hammond- an ugly ginger...don't think he really has a clue what he is doing, with regards to letting simon cox go....

 He didn't have a lot of choice in the matter. Cox wanted first team football. He was never going to break into a Premiership line-up. Therefore he wanted to leave.

Now get back to your egg-chasing, m8!

Here's my 2p's worth.

After spending 750,000 big ones on a podcast specialist, i think the next manager will be kind of on the cheap, so definitley one that is out of work and would fit within the financial restraints of RFC, so based on that, my pocket is now doing the talking and bets have been made on:

Cotterill
Newell
Davey
Sanchez

Although, the best option, out of that depressing list (minus Hart, which is even more depressing) would be Curbs.

I might just unload my sacks all over Lucy Alexander. In a real life stalking sense and not just pushing the pause button on Sky+ neither.

Northern Git Think the timing of BR departure may have something to do with 6 month trial period in his contract. Was the last chance for SJM to ditch him without cost.

LOL

McDonalds have a probation period.

Not sure about league clubs.

Sensible post about the decision - after Wednesday, I thought we'd put together a decent run of form yet the two following matches reinforced that we were still pretty mediocre.

I'm always torn about the amount of time a manager should have - there were signs of progress, we didn't look awful (c&c with that relegation season where we looked like fodder from October, imo) - but equally we weren't winning and some of the decisions were a bit bonkers.

Can't really see how we are going to get out of the mire this season, but Brian McDermott is a genuine great guy. His success with the reserve team should at least give him a chance to make a stake for the job, let's see what happens on Saturday! I do fear that it's a poisoned chalice though now.

Otherwise it's Curbishley for me, but will he take the hotseat?
