Roberto Martinez

Is it me, or does this guy get an easy ride in the Premiership because he's a nice guy ?! Wigan's result's this season have been shocking.

Lost 5-0 Man Utd (twice)
Lost 9-1 Spurs
Lost 4-0 Pompey
Lost 4-0 Arsenal
Lost 4-1 Blackpool (Carling Cup)

...that's just the heavy defeats.

He accused his Wigan flops of not playing for each other after they were thumped last night. Surely can't be long until he goes the way of Megson.

Shocking results. I really rated him but when you see those results it makes you question whether he is so good after all.

Conced 44 league goals in 19 games, GD is -23

If it wasn't for Rodgaella's goals then they'd be really struggling

Just a bit, his goals have accounted for 16 of their 19 points this season.

On the flip side they've beaten both Villa and Chelsea, plus Burnley at Turf Moor which are a few decent results.

They're definately struggling and it just goes to show what a good job Bruce did with them last season.

I think he's getting an easy ride because it's not much of a story as it's only Wigan.

It would be job done yes.

Expectations are lower for Wigan, which is why I think he's got a fairly easy ride considering some of those results.

Didn't realise that. He's got to be the most valuable player in the premiership then on a points per goal basis? Surely?
