First, it was Eduarseo who cheated with his dive and was going to be punished. Then all of sudden, he's been let off.
Now, it's Thierry Henry who was going to be punished for his act of cheating. What a fvcking surprise that FIFA decides to let him off.
When are they going to stamp down on the cheating?

Spacey - IF they punished Henry for a handball they would have to punish everyone who does the same in future. If anything they should be punishing the ref/linesman for failing to spot the offence - they have no way of proving Henry handled the ball on purpose so punishing him would have been harsh considering its not a punishable offence in the game normally.

Sarah Star They have video evidence and Henry's admission that he did it.

Dirk Gently Find a way for them to change the laws of the game and the competition retrospectively and they'll punish him - but with no such law available what can they do?

What can they do? As you suggested in in your first few words, find a way to change the laws of the game!

Sarah Star They have video evidence and Henry's admission that he did it. I thought they'd at least give him a one match ban.

No, he admitted that it was handball - he never said he did it on purpose.......infact he said it wasn't intentional. So as said, how can you ban a player for a handball??? - handballs happen every week in football, does that mean everyone should be banned for it??

That's a lesser evil than having the video of every single match scrutinsed and players being banned for anything they did wrong in that match.
