Whore Jackie
AthleticoSpizz Liverpool v Reading Carling Cup October 2006 43k

Liverpool v Reading FA Cup Jan 2010 31k

somethings wrong

You don't think first-time-ever-against-Liverpool was a factor?

Given that we took 1500 on a Tuesday night at £22, and 3000 on a Saturday 10 days later at £32, I would actually say that maybe that wasn't a factor tbf.

Irish had already sold 20k for the planned game at the Madstad, in the end they got 37k for a home game at Twickers, must have been some that went to that instead.

Ouch, shame that Irish now have a higher record home crowd than the football club has.

Typical plastics. If they were real Irish they would have been found in The Battle Inn or what used to be The Kennet Arms!

Ian Royal

Ian Royal Not only is one in a recession and the other not. But one is in October and the other in January, a month notoroius for people being short of cash anyway.

and one was the (much maligned) Carling Cup

and one wasn't

One had awful weather and was not far from being called off, with very little notice for ticket sales and plenty of Reading fans effectively snowed in.

We could play this game for ever.

I wasn't particularly referring to the lack of Reading fans

What has happened to the missing 10k of loyal scowzers

a sign of the times
