Tony Le Mesmer Any idea who will take Rochdale's place as the longest time spent in their current division?

First instincts would be someone like Lincoln. They must have had 10 years in League 2 now. Can't be many others that haven't filtered one way or the other in that time.

Certainly won't be Torquay, after your thoroughly overdue relegation to the Conference in 2007.
I am keeping a keen eye on all things Rochdale having read this little gem of a book, one of the best I have ever read on the subject of football: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Believe-Sign-Ma ... 1904590179

T.R.O.L.I. Darlo isn't a good shout seeing as they are 14 points adrift (as good as 15 with their pitiful GD of -38) and are odds-on for relegation this season.

Never understood that claim; Arsenal. Liverpool, Everton have been in the top flight longer

Ark Royal Reading spent 40 years at the third level from 1931-1971 (and we are about to start our next sequence!)

Arsenal have the longest unbroken run in the top division starting in 1919.
