SWLR Still none the wiser to what the tune is after today.

Also, am i supposed to pump my arms, pogo, jig around a bit. Help this old bloke to 'get on down' when we score.

To be frank, you can do whatever you want, even if it's nothing. The East Stand seemed to be into enough to get the concrete bouncing yesterday, so I'd vote it a success.

Just a word of warning, some of our wonderfully more officious stewards don't take too kindly to you making any gestures (and I'm not talking flicking vs or shaking wrists) in the direction of the opposition support!

I'd hoped it came across as more tongue in cheek.

Oops. I didn't see this thread and just wrote about it on another one. Anyways, I loved it - it's more original than every other club doing Tom Hark these days - so new goal music for a new decade and since we started playing it, we've scored every home game haven't we?

Oi Oi Oi!!

we've scored in every game we've played for the last three months. It just hasn't helped too much.

But look on the bright side, we haven't lost at home either. :)

If bands are going to write songs dedicated to our players, it seems a shame not to give them an airing at opportune moments... Even if they are pissawful.

Was that was what played yesterday? What a dreadful, dreadful, dreadful choice, absolutely appalling! If the club feel they have to play something then at least make it something uplifting or with life or a certain cheesiness in it, not some unrememberable, tuneless background filler.

There did also seem to be a bit of a delay yesterday - we'd all celebrated the goal, I was about to sit down and the music started up!

They were probably caught unaware, not expecting us to score in the league!

:?:
I smell fish...

but if not...surely it is everything that you have said it isn't!? Personally, I have no interest in watching darts but I'd go along just for the celebrations, it's great fun.

Never had anything against Tom Hark, but EVERYBODY uses it now and it was getting boring. Personally, I'd got to a stage where I'd have not been bothered if they stopped playing it.

I hope the pause before it's played stays though. It's nice to get a bit of spontaneous celebrating/chanting in before the tune kicks in!

My advice is go and watch some darts and then come back and tell us that Chase the Sun doesn't work...
