Madejski > some jumped up idiot who because they've won promotions from the bottom leagues thinks Peterborough are some mammoth sized club who should be sweeping all past them in the Championship, without having invested hardly anything towards the playing staff since last season.

Said before elsewhere the bloke lives in pure fantasy where Peterborough should be the pinnacle for any fledgling footballer or manager. Ferguson showed some interest on the back of his teams success in trying to better himself and this idiot made out for him to be the devil. He's blamed the staff, the players, everyone for thier season when in fact it's this loon running the club that is squarely to blame for them being bottom. Getting rid of the best manager their club will ever have, appointing someone from non league, not giving him any money to allow him to put his stamp on the team, then bombing him out after 10 matches. So they need a manager, the new man can't bring anyone in, and they are going down. Whose going to go there? Knowing that they will get sacked and blamed for the teams relegation in 15 games time?

Big Ron and Barry Fry as joint managers - I'd pay to watch that.

After seeing his rant on Big Brother - wont be surprised to see Fry jump back in there though.

On 26 Jan 2010 Darragh MacAnthony 'Mark Cooper is out of his depth and was a cheap recruitment'
Mark was given an identical contract to Darren Ferguson and money was never the issue when it came to his recruitment. He was given the job on merit and by me with no influence from anybody else. Nobody has given the bloke a chance since he was appointed 10 games ago and he has had to deal with one fiasco after another. I am of course unhappy that the results have not changed but at the same time I am not ready to throw the towel in as quick as others appear to be.

Righty-ho. That means he gets another five days, then.

Indeed; Congratulations! Reading have been pushed into second place in the "stupidest sacking of a manager this season" category.

At least surely McAnthony can't expect the next manager to keep them up, and will be satisfied with some signs of improvement in the remainder of the season. If that's the case then it mightn't be a bad next job for Rodgers. I'd money on Posh last season. If Rodgers gets the job, and they're relegated in May, then I can see me backing them again for 2010-11; providing it's clear that McAnthony is 100% behind his Manager.

Have you taken a look at QPR this season? Not withstanding Posh's first managerial alteration :|

I think you have to give the madhouse that is QPR their own personal competition.
