handbags_harris Stoke leading again, Fuller's second. Arsenal raped for pace down the right by Sidibe

Whatever anyone's gripe with Stoke, they play football to what Tony Pulis sees as their strengths. Football is football, no matter how it's played. They offer a different angle to the Premier League, and I actually quite enjoy it. I don't hold grudges against teams for the way they play.

Channel flicking again Ian?

Yep. Besides, FA Cup effects us. I'm scouting potential opposition.

Really, really hate Gabriel Clarke as an interviewer. Used to be insightful, but after the Rafa interview and now his assault on Mancini (Is Robinho staying? IS HE?) I can't stand him.

Yeah, just plain rude...

What exactly do they expect as an answer? "No we're flogging him because he can't be arsed."?

And just imagine how all those fans who bothered to dress up as plastic seats feel - motionless in the background on SKY.

just about the most bizarre hat trick i can think of.

all in about 6 mins, and a perfect hat trick t'boot. 3 goals in succession with a left foot right foot and a header. and only 1 goal in previous 6 years!!

If he'd scored 5 more they'd have made a film about it.

How long before someone blames Hughes for Defoes goal to retake the lead?

Nice to see him back to form after his recent blip. Form is temporary, being fundamentally shit is permanent.

When he was subbed not longer afterwards CLOLive said "maybe it was locking the stable door after the Bentley had bolted" which makes Tyldesley even more of pcunt than Royalee

Personally I'd blame the player who left Bentley with 20 minutes and an acre of room to pick his cross and the player who failed to cut it out at the near post. Not the makeshift league one left back marking one of the best strikers in the country. Not that I'm saying Hughes couldn't have done better. But then so could the goalkeeper IMO.

Andy Hughes is shit, he's another footballer praised for his 'influence on the dressing room' and 'energy', which is code for 'he's shit and has absolutely no skill or brains and I need to justify him with something so I'll pick effort'.
