http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8500038.stm There was a hint of controversy in the prelude to the draw when Republic of Ireland, also in pot three, and France were paired together in a rehearsal, a twist of fate that Uefa president Michel Platini said he would love to see repeated on Sunday.
The Republic are still reeling from the handball by Platini's fellow countryman, Thierry Henry, that led to the goal that sealed France's place in this summer's World Cup finals.
"It is my wish they play against each other. It would be great," said the former France skipper, who led his team to victory in the 1984 tournament. "I am not conducting the draw, but I hope it happens."

Dirk Gently And it's one of the smaller groups, which is what Capello wanted more than anything.
He does seem to have the ability to get lucky in all these draws!
