Even his missus has told him to stop being such a twat about the decision at the weekend. Says it all.

Arch
Dirk Gently The paradox is that he's an intellignet, articulate bloke who knows his stuff - he's a qualified ref and if you ever hear him talk he's got very good, coherent, ideas about the game and referees.

But then make him a manager and he turns into a complete tosser. Not sure if it's the way he is or if it's him playing up to the "pantomime villain" persona he's created but it's not big and it's not clever.

Also yesterday ITV were focussing on him and his rages at 5 minute intervals, so he didn't disappoint them.

He spends the entire 90 minutes - other than when he's exploding - with such a deep, stressed frown that I'm sure he's going to have a heart attack any minute. Anyway, I'm on record as being in the pro-Colin camp. I'd rather have a pint with him than most managers.

^ this, and I'd love to see someone like him, with his heart and fight, managing Reading. That isn't knocking the current manager, but Warnock's passion for his teams is something I admore very much.

Isn't his passion for himself rather than his teams though ?

You can;t get 'passionate' about 8 or 9 teams any more than you can fall in love with 8 or 9 women.

Just heard his rant on the deduction of 10 points for Palace. It's always "the world against me and my teams" with Colin, which is why I can't stand the man.

from the BBC

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock:
"I don't enjoy losing - I've still gone in to see the ref tonight and tried to educate him, they were conning fouls.

Good old Colin. Gracious as ever in defeat, and blame the ref first.

Colin Ref, good game, just one point of contention; our goal. It should never have stood. We had a player impeading their 'keeper not doing anything other than stand in front of him preventing him from coming for the ball. I know you can't do anything about it now, but the score should read 0-3. Never mind, you live and learn, eh?

Maguire I said he'll never achieve anything of note in football.

Ah, yeah, but you have to remember that's only because he's oppressed by the system. He could have been a contender.

Colin is a f*cktard, media-whore, anti-social prat and a total bore. He eye-balled our manager last night in McD's own technical area, classy. The same people who refer to this bloke as a character who is good for the game are presumably the same kind of people who would choose to watch Jim Davidson live and go on about bringing back National Service.

I suspect MaccyD would have been quite happy if Colin had invited him to sort things out behind the stands after the game....

Passion is the most over-used word in football. Steve Coppell > Neil Warnock.

Getting back to last night he defo exchanged words with McD and was "dragged" away plus I'm sure he also had a word or two with Jobi. But that's just passion isn't it ?

Warnock is a classic school bully. I'll definately buy the player or manager that eventually punches him a pint.
