Tickets go on sale to ALL Member card holders on Tuesday 2nd March and at that point all ST holder seats yet to be purchased will no longer be guaranteed

You could even go crazy and have 900+ on Tues, 600+ on Wed, 300+ on Thurs and general sale from Friday. I'm really really p*ssed off that the 800+ points I have count for nothing at the moment.......like many people I will be at work on Tues and won't be able to get any before I get home. My Dad and Uncle have re-arranged their work shifts so that we could all go to the game on that weekend (which was decided before we have even played Liverpool, we were getting excited about Scunthorpe!!)....I'll be mega p*ssed off if we miss it!!

Why not phone up at 9am on Tuesday? Or get a mate to do it - all you need to do it link your cards via online ticketing and you're away.

I think that they should go back to old way and only sell tickets to those who are prepared to queue up in the rain outside the ticket office. That way everyone gets an equal chance and it will discourage those who don't support their local club from attending.

You could have a clever system in place where "season ticket holders" and "members with x+ points" are eligible to purchase simultaneously. The members will only be able to purchase seats not belonging to season ticket holders and the season ticket holders can only purchase their own seat or any seat not belonging to another season ticket holder. After this exclusivity period, the season ticket holder seats which haven't been snapped up will be released for the next stage of sale.

If general sale started on wednesday then there would only be three working days prior to the match for a significant percentage of the sales. This will create a high workload for the ticket office. Okay, most transactions will be done online but there will always be people phoning the ticket office for some reason.

There is nothing to stop you standing outside the ticket office in the rain waiting for tickets to go on sale.

Same for me and my old man, no ST this season but I've got 1100+ points as does he. Means naff all, and some old boy who went to Reading v Liverpool once as a fan of both teams could in theory take the spaces.

I will try at the first available period but I am stunned RFC have done this, because they haven't been this shambolic for a little while.

I do think it's wrong not to be apply the points system in some way.

It's lazy by the club and I'm sure STAR kicked off a bit about the points not being applied for another game recently and the club actually too notice. It seems STAR are back to being the clubs apologists on this one instead of standing up for the 'rights' of the loyal fans they should really be representing.

I'm not sure the ticket office computers could handle that level of complexity...
