by Barry the bird boggler » 26 Feb 2010 17:01

The last 16 looks like this

Hamburg v Anderlecht
Rubin Kazan v Wolfsburg
Atletico Madrid v Sporting Lisbon
Benfica v Marseille
Panathinaikos v Standard Liege
Lille v Liverpool
Juventus v Fulham
Valencia v Werder Bremen

Does anyone care?

Well, I thought I didn't care when I saw the thread title, but then I thought "may as well have a look" and now I know I don't care... I'm a Championship gal through and through

I'm a big fan, myself

Got to watch all the games on one channel yesterday and always enjoy it for what it is (and well done to Fulham kayo'ing the holders)

Found it interesting that only one of the round's 16 ties got extended beyond the normal 180 minutes (and there was only going to be one winner there)

Of general interest: of the combined 32 sides still alive in the Champions League and Europe League, there are no Ukrainian, Turkish, Romanian or Dutch sides remaining

Long live the Europa League (or whatever)
