Mrs F and No.2 son are both Chelsea fans, but all four of us cheered VERY loudly when Bridge did that.

Fantastic bit of gamesmanship this week from Bridge. The timing of his announcement just before the game guaranteed a lot more media attention just when it might have been dying down. Terry might have had a couple of days making up with his missis- but whats the betting she has been having a right go at him again?
I wonder if he had a nice quiet night to focus and concentrate- or a whiny missis banging on and on and on....

'greed. For a second I thought he was going to shake his hand, and Terry certainly did too.

Apparently Bridge sent a text to Terry after the game saying "thats how you play away you Bastard".

Bridge truly murked Terry there, let him put his hand out then stroll right past him.

Then Terry went on to play like a donkey yet again

Excellent spot -- made me laugh more than Terry trying too late to pretend he wasn't going to shake hands any way :D

Followed by Chelsea Mongs booing the substitutions and booing at the final whistle despite being top of the league.

People moan about Reading fans but it takes a lot to start them booing, indeed I would say they booed less, having gone nearly a year without a home win, that Chelsea fans do whilst top of the league if the slightest thing doesn't go right (H/T V Fulham being another example.)

I thought long and hard whether I wanted Portsmouth to go into liquidation and decided against. In the case of Chelsea, if Abramovich walked away, I think I would as it's all that the utter, utter, utter, fucktards that make up 95% of their support deserve. They and their club represent absolutely everything that is wrong with football in this day and age

Abramovich has converted his investment into shares. If he walked away it would make very little difference to Chelsea being solvent. It might reduce their spending ability, but (sadly) administration would be a long way off.
