Alan Partridge
TheMaraudingDog LOL @ Kes boasting in early March.

Especially whe Chelsea are only going to win the FA Cup. I'm sure Roman thinks it was worth the national debt of Eritrea to only have a few domestic honours.

Still, winning the FA Cup would be more than Citeh..

Just out of interest, which trophy(ies) did Chelsea win during Abramovich's first full season at the helm? I can't remember how long he's been at Chelsea, hence the reason for the question.

Ahh so I guess Man City must now be the one sided rival for all post 2003 Chelsea fans instead of Liverpool.

Looks like you're right, Ian:

chelseafc.com On July 1, 2003 the Russian, relatively unknown in the UK at the time, saved the club from an uncertain future and possible bankruptcy, and provided the platform from which we have grown into one of the world's largest clubs.

So I make that a first season return of:

2nd in the Premier League (11 points behind the Champions)
League Cup QF
FA Cup 5th Round
CL Semi Final

In comparison, Citeh have made:

League Cup SF
FA Cup 5th Round

And are currently 12 points behind the leaders in the PL (with a game in hand).

Yes. Kes is trying to boast about it, with little success.

Big game in CL and Chelsea doesn't quite add up.
Still can't be the best in Eurp &
they won't go down as a great side until they do so.

To be fair, I believe that Inter are still in the Italian Cup.

Was it "love rat" Terry or Alex that played Eto'o on-side?

How long before Abramovich gets bored of his toy?

LOL @ Drogba getting himself sent off so he can swerve half of the tedious group stage games next year.

Oh, and LOL @ Kes natch.

So as Fulham can no longer win the league its just Man Utd that are able to win the treble this season!

It does look as though Chelsea have blown it.
Does it come down to Terry being a naughty boy and Fat Frank losing his form (and energy!!)since he started going out with that Christine?

Terry has been truly woeful since behavinglikeac*nt-gate and has certainly cost them points. Only a quick look at Chelsea forums shows that he is no longer a fans favourite.

Lots of talk on there of him being the reason behind them blowing the title etc. LOL @ such a fall from grace!

It was the season under Ranieri. CL defeat was the one to Monaco and Big Ron's outburst.
