RoyalChicagoFC ^^ Yeah, in no particular order

Bracing for inevitable media slobberfest over Martin O'Neill, groundbreaking tactical genius and unmatched motivator of men, etc

Whatever he said it worked

Along with a few expletives I would guess he told them to play the ball wide and put low balls in to the box as Mills and Ingi were dealing with the long balls and high crosses with ease.

How is it? We lost the Semi then, and to the winners of the cup that year.

Still getting a few chances, looks like a costly 10 mins of football after the break.

I should've stayed home. Maybe jumping in the car for 35 minutes turned it around. Oh well, on to Curling.

Simply not good enough, the performance in the second half was awful. It's very well playing like we did in the first half but you can't come out the way we did in the second.

Oh well, roll on Wednesday...

Heh well, I've never bought into cause-effect and think it's just something that media mushwits like to say to fill silences (with homilies to "passion" and "momentum" ranking right up there with it)

It was more a statement on their love for O'Neill and his ilk anyway --in the act of opening their mouths, guys like him make their job easier

Oh, and there it went on the stream --first commentator's reference to "half-time team talk"

Just 12 minutes of madness cost us that game

Nice while it lasted, but now the league is the priority.

Oh well!

Now that little distraction is out of the way we can concentrate on the important stuff: staying up.

Plenty of positives to take out of that. Except for the first 15 minutes of the second half (when we played Blue-square league football) we competed well and looked good/threatening going forward. Why is there always a period in a Reading game when they seem to forget everything they've been doing and play crap, then they seem to get it back together? Happened in the Palace game too.

Still; don't know why we are in the bottom half of the Championship if we can play to that level. :?
