No Fixed Abode C'mon then - I bet you Reading fans were thinking you were going to have a day at Wembley at half time yesterday,,,,worrying about getting tickets etc...

Why would season ticket holders worry about getting tickets.

I appreciate that this is an alien concept to you but fans who actually go to significant numbers of games have a priority for big game tickets.

Wow. You do like to state the obvious. As Reading have about 5,000 STH's I was referring to those that don't. Which out of allocation of 30,000ish, is the vast majority that would have to worry about tickets.

The membership card and the loyalty point scheme would cater for them. Didn't they have them when you last went to a game?

No Reading fans who've been to more than a handful of games would have any problem getting any tickets whatsoever.

Not to mention the fact that the allocation to each team for the semi-finals is nearer the 40K mark (hence Everton's protest last season).

Still, you can support your other teams in the cup now.

You have to tip your hat to Chelsea though, they've really don't well to get to the semi final against the odds haven't they? They've given hope to all other teams who have to work on a budget

This is why the likes of Kes and Aggro have to try and their jollies here.

Reading's fans have got more joy out of the cup this year than United or Chelsea fans can/could have got by winning it.

What a sterile football supporting expierence it must be watching a club surrounded by tourists where the greatest emotion you can experience is satisfaction and anything other than trophies is abject failure.

You can only beat the teams you're drawn against m8.

Don't be bitter, it's not a good trait!

It's understandable why you wouldn't want anything to aspire to.

If that comment came from anyone other than a bloke who sits next to his wife at games surrounded by a mixture of empty blue seats and happly clapping face painters then I'd have to take it on the chin.

If/when you've seen as many United games as I have Reading, I may give a toss about your opinion on how i choose to watch.

Good for you to try and bail your m8 out though. Did he text for help?

So you slate how I watch football, I then slate how you watch football and then you say that you don't give a toss on my opinion.

That's poor internet message boarding m8. You can't get into deb8 with someone not like what they post and then throw your toys out of the pram.

Poor hobnobbing.

I'd also suggest that if United tickets were as easy to get hold of as Reading and if our league season was 46 games I wouldn't be that far behind you. But then you have got 20 odd years on me so well done on having been to more games than me. You must be so proud.

It might sound odd, but had we made the semis I would have not bothered to go watch Chelsea, everything that is wrong with big money footy. Them and Man C, no probs with the other big boys. Don't think i have bothered to watch a Chelsea game on telly or Man C, and had no desire to watch Chelsea when we were in the Prem either, made the effort for Utd and Arsenal.

So would you stop watching Reading if a rich benefactor took over the helms from JM and they initially started throwing money at players?
