Delighted with that result. The Robins are my home town club and I used to watch them in the Southern Midland division back in the 80's. They scored 4 goals in the last 6 minutes...this included a 6 minute hat-trick.

from bbc sport:

From Dave in York, via text on 81111: "I am a Cheltenham fan that went to our game at Burton today and left with us 4-2 down. I couldn't believe it when I was told we won 6-5! Hopefully it will kick-start our season!"

He must have left with about 10 minutes to go and only missed his side score four and collect the most incredible away win in their entire history  Serves him right for leaving early.

Playing for Bishops Cleeve (this time last year) in the South....he is obviously STILL better than what they already had.

Didn't Mad Dog (Allen) co-erce him back during his (brief) tenure?

Correct. Pretty much summed up Mad Dog's reign. Thank God he's gone....and no Alsop really isn't any better than what the club already had...just a lot taller.

That is a bat-shit score and all I can say is... Doncaster 7 Reading 5.

I too have a soft spot for the Nam, after my 4 years there.

Mid week games at Whadders were always a chuckle!

Mental game today though, just seen it on FLS

Pook's winner was very well-taken and led to bedlam. Brilliant.

But he had to beat the post-whistle masses streaming away from the ground...what was the crowd? 2500?

Old, old story, but LMFAO at anyone, at any ground, anywhere leaving before the whistle. You deserve everything you miss...
