Surprised no one's mentioned the article on the BBC website comparing the Bundesliga approach with the Premiership. Worth a read in terms of alternative strategies.

Ofcom produces expected ruling.
Sky will appeal.

If I understand it correctly Ofcom aren't getting me, a Sky subscriber, a better deal here are they?

So thanks for that

Depends on how you look at it.

if SKY have to provide their content to other providers at a lower cost, the other providers can attract new subscibers with lower prices. As you could now, potentially, have a cheaper option than SKY, SKY may offer you lower prices to keep you

Terminal Boardom It all started going wrong when home clubs were able to keep ALL of the gate receipts. This and the abolition of the maximum wage.

Blame the bloke with the big chin for that one

Fantastic model. But the mess we are all in now seems sadly irreversible.

Excellent model and, to be honest, something along the lines of the way football clubs at all levels and in all countries should be managed.

depends on SKY's appeal

depends if the other providers choose to pass on the savings to customers
