Ipswich (A)

by Wimb » 02 Apr 2010 08:09

I've been thinking of making a last minute decision to go to the game tomorrow. I phoned the ticket office yesterday morning and they said that they'd sold out their supply but that it was pay on the gate.

Anybody with previous experience able to tell me if its an end that's likely to be full/sold out?

Cheers

I'm not sure if it's a sell out. It might be, but the club will always send back any unsold tickets so that the pay on the day can be utilized. With it being that close to the match, and sending the tickets back (by courier usually), you probably just missed out. The bank holiday also affected this with the T/O being closed.

Phone the Portman Road T/O on Sat at 9am. (Closed today for the bank holiday). Tel: 0870 1110555

According to the OS, 674 tickets sold for this game. POTG will be in operation. We rarely sell out at Ipswich, the only time we came close was in 03/04 opening day of the season. My numerous visits have only generally shown a 500-700 average following. You will have no problem with pay on the gate entry.

Hmmm.

Completely forgot about this game which is one of the easier ones for me to get to. Might just rock up on the day... That would definitely get me to my target number of games for the season as well.
