Satisfaction Survey

by Schards#2 » 14 May 2010 16:28

Anyone else had one of these, I got one by email this morning?

Lots of questions on catering and general value for money. It'll be interesting to see any feedback and whether it results in any changes.

Prices for catering will go up and the quality will get worse. HTH.

I get an e-mail about it but haven't read it yet - any questions about the stewarding / "match day experience"?

If you see next season a Kebab Van outside the East Stand, and scantily clad Cheerleaders at half time, you know who to thank.. :P

I did one for the caterin at a game a weeks ago.

Everything was ok as far as I was concerned. Of course the very next game the service at HT was so slow I gave up trying to get a drink after 15 minutes of waiting because I was still a good 6 people from the front of the queue.

Not normally that bad.

In which case, TBH, I don't think you have might right to complain in future if you are not happy with the catering or stewarding etc.

The club seems to have gone to some trouble to find out the wishes and concerns of the supporters, if supporters can't be bothered to spend 15 minutes voicing them, then they can hardly complain that the club isn't interested in the fans or that their voice is not being heard.

TBF they don't need an email survey to tell them the queues are too long and that the food on offer is over priced for it's quality, but I suspect that's what the majority of responses will indicate.

But they do need exactly that data. RFC do not run the catering, Compass (a completely different company) does.

So RFC need people complaining - and actual customer dissatisfaction figures - before they can go back to Compass and tell them to pull their fingers out.

Haven't received one, but would like to partake. Is there a link to it?

I haven't got a problem with the catering or stewarding. No issues at the moment...but if I have I'll let you know.
Besides if I had any issues I would go and see someone direct face to face and sort it out that way.

So only those with issues will fill it in, giving an unbalanced view and set of results, usually meaning that it can all be dismissed and binned.

It is easy for the club to know how well or bad Compass are doing tho, they have the contract, and if there is a extra payment re turnover the club should have an idea of what they hope to achieve. Or is it just a fixed price. They could always go and actually look, the last few matches I went to it was not too bad, drinks prices were similar to other events, sadly £1-50p is the new going rate for a tea or coffee at many places. What they do do well is to display the prices very well, none of this getting to the front and finding it is £4 a pint, like at The Hexagon.

£4 a pint doesn't sound unreasonable at a theatre bar tbf 2-0.

They can see how much they've sold, not sold and put it down to prices if they want. But this survey goes much deeper than that. Asking questions about the staff etc. I think you only got an email if you order tickets online or something, as I didn't get one.

The survey also allows you to say what might be troubling you/pleasing you about catering/stewards etc. Not just a "tick if satisfied" type survey

I've ordered tickets online and not got one so it can't be that.
