No Fixed Abode Fans of teams who win nothing of note in jelousy shocker.

Fans of money orientated clubs with hollow domestic success in spouting off shocker!

Hollow hollow hollow, Chelsea's success is hollow.

((Bite))

I don't really get this.

Throughout history the richest clubs, more often than not win the major trophies.

We could be like Man City though. Spend all that money and finish 5th. Or like Liverpool and finish 7th.

And if you were a 'proper' Rangers fan you would like Chelsea.

I'll stop biting at your weak attempts now.

Not really, this was put to debate on follow follow. The links with the Chelsea lads goes back years but in recent times those chelsea fans have been priced out and replaced by the new modern fans and chelsea as a club is completely different now than it was in the 90's where you were quite likable. A few bears still have time for you but the stronger link is with Hamburg.

Lampard is well liked but most of your other players aren't.

Give it 2 or 3 years and you can start making that comparison. Not now.

So, what you're basically saying is football has changed, not just Chelsea. Chelsea aren't the club they used to be, Reading aren't etc, etc...

It's good you pick on Chelsea though - it's what envious fans do.

I'm not Really envious, you won two domestic cups this season, so did Rangers. You still haven't won the champions league. Say you do win it some time in the future, it would be interesting to compare that with the cost of respectful previous winners.

Silver Fox Why aren't there any Scottish flags in that Scottish crowd?

Why aren't there any st georges or union jacks flags at Reading?

There are...not at home games no, but you'll see some at away games or if you go abroad with either the cricket or football.

Basically though the Reading fan base isn't one that goes in for that kind of thing.

I still can't believe you, as a Rangers fan, are having a pop at Barca for having a biggotted hooligan element to it's fan base.

Just accept Rangers for what they are and live with the abuse that might come your way because of it. You can't seriously deny some of the issues they face and the negative traits of their fans and the politics about the whole club.

I don't understand how Chelsea's success is hollow. I would have thought Man Utd's was even more hollow considering the debt that they're in and the potential disaster if they don't get to pay off the debt in good time.

I don't deny there are a few tits.

What I take exception to is the ridiculous love relationship a lot on HNA have with Barcelona, they deserve to be shown up for what they are. If Reading had celebrated promotion to the prem with getting 100 arrests and injuring 150 people ( two years in a row)..there would be a lot said on HNA and the national media which would put a lot of people off :(

I wonder how we or they would react if we lost a UEFA cup final?

But we've all seen you need more luck to win the CL than you do the Prem.

Inter V Bayern this year. Who would have predicited that at the start? Are Bayern a better side than Manchester United, probably not over the course of a season, but a two legged game, anything can happen.

Harping back to 2005. Now Liverpool were by no way the best team in that competition but they won it. A good game here, bif of luck there and they did it. It was no fluke they finished 37 points off the top that year.

Real Madrid were by far the biggest spenders last summer, and look what happened to them!

As for comparing domestic cups. you can't really compare the SPL to the prem and you only won the Scottish League cup, not the FA Cup.

I don't see what this thread has to do with Rangers, but if you want to keep deflecting to that from the issue at hand.

Reading or Barca wouldn't take 200,000 fans to a Uefa Cup final and only have 100 arests.

Have I ousted a closet barca fan?

FiNeRaIn Why do people still insist on supporting them as their Spanish club? They are a nasty little club with scum fans, political agendas ( separatist groups) and arrogant oxf*rd of players.

FiNeRaIn Ugh no, it's the red hand of ulster salute? Thank god neither if you work for the media.

That's not a political agenda, last i checked Rangers weren't campaigning to seperate from Scotland like barca are with spain

Nothing wrong with an allegiance to Ulster seeing as rangers have a bunch of NI players in the squad. The same reason Reading fans wave american and irish flags for their players.

Celtic's current manager is Neil Lennon, can you explain to me why their supporters don't wave Ulster flags and perform the red hand of Ulster salute?
