Highlights, Adam's goal is truly quality.

And to think that we were in for him last summer... If you believe Rumours mind you.

Ark Royal I think Cardiff may well be fu cked next season if they have to sell Whittingham, Ledley, Bothroyd, Chopra to survive.

They can't sell Ledley - he's on a free......however with him being 23 they will be due some compensation if they have offered him a new deal which he rejects.......

'greed, it truly is precise. But I was thinking, if the cardiff wall had jumped, they might have stopped it. Instead they were covering their mouths and standing like lemons. LOL!

Really pleased for Blackpool. Mainly for my distaste for Welsh clubs, but it's great to see the smaller clubs get to the top flight.

Holloway too is a top bloke. His interviews afterwards were first class. (what it all means to his players, himself, the town, even the local B&B's and chipshops)

Met a load of Cardiff supporters on Saturday night and they were gutted. Some refused to clap the players as they got off the team coach back to their hotel - saying they hadn't tried hard enough. A couple said they support City the club, not the players - it's still their club and however much you might dislike them, just remember how you felt after two play-off finals and how you'd feel if there was also a shadow over whether your club would survive.

I told them I was from Reading and we had a good chat about football in general. None of them were the knuckle dragging hoolie types either - they shook hands with any Blackpool supporters that passed by and we were surrounded in the pub after the game by probably in excess of 300 bluebirds and not one caused any type of trouble.

As for Blackpool, they're going to need all the luck in the world. Half of their team were on loan - unless they can afford to buy them, they could end up with single figure points in the Prem.

Are you actually trying to defend a club that is notorious for their troublesome fans?

Sorry, some of us still remember that night Cardiff came to Elm Park for the FA Cup replay. Can't excuse their behaviour that night.

Nobody in Blackpool will be expecting much more tbf. They'll enjoy the ride, and their finances are secure for the immediate future. £40m for next season, and they wont break the bank there, then £12m for the following 4 years in 'chute payments.

No - I'm saying they're not all the same and out of 300 pissed up bluebirds I was expecting some sort of trouble and there wasn't any.

Might be. Still £48m over 4 years tho. Can't be bad.

I was hoping Cardiff would win, but it did strike me there was a certain justice in Blackpool beating them. I'm originally from near Cardiff and around 1978 I went to the last game of the season there when Orient needed a win to relegate Blackpool from the old Division 2 instead of them and got it 1-0 thanks to an unbelievably supine home performance. Cardiff's manager was the late Jimmy Andrews and there were a few chants of "Jim'll fix it". I'm pretty sure Blackpool never got back into the second rung until Holloway got them promoted.

There are plenty of decent Cardiff fans. Their web-site is also far more respectful towards Reading than a lot of other football fan sites.
They do have too many idiots but these louts still represent a small minority.

It was Simon Grayson who got them promoted into the Championship fwiw.

So you want to condemn a whole football club and every one of its supporters forever because of the past behaviour of some of them?

Pleased for Blackpool, it's always nice to see a set of fans enjoy the bigtime after years of strife.

Still I can't help but feel it's a waste of a spot in the PL (from a viewers POV) On paper they have perhaps the biggest job of any promoted side in recent history, even Burnley were in better shape when they went up.

Still, they've earned their place in the top flight and good luck to them and their fans! :)

Ah, yes, you raise your ugly self-righteous head again.

Not just these fans, but also their financial cheating and Richard Carpenter.
