They have offered him 3 million to leave, when in fact it would cost 16 million to sack him. Rafa do the decent thing and stay.

Tragic that the financial situation of the club is so bad that the Liverpool manager's job, for so long one of such high prestige (still is, to less of an extent) is being treated in this way.
Rumours that Benitez's transfer 'kitty' (before selling players) this summer is £5 million. Gillett and Hicks have absolutely ruined the club, its a disgrace.

Still love the fact Reading helped add to liverpool's poor season without a trophy.
TB & TlM, why do you slate the club so much?
Whilst I don't like the LIverpool fans the club itself has pretty much always, from what I can remember, carried itself very well with a certain amount of dignity.
What makes you call it (and not the fans) hateful and scum?
I pity whoever takes over after Rafa unless the ownership is sorted out. They've got a pretty average squad with a two or three world class players who've carried the rest but might not fancy staying around any more. That and no money don't make for a good platfor to rebuild from.

The new Chairman has apparently said it will take 3 years to sort out the mess even with new owners.

According to the BBC Rafa is expected to go by the weekend and Inter Milan could be interested in his services.
Kenny Dalglish looks like being lined up for an interim caretaker role while negotiations with other managers and clubs take place.
Martin O'Neill and Roy Hodgson are the early frontrunners to take over permanently which I actually applaud and hope one of those does happen (so no doubt it'll be another useless foreigner taking the helm).
Hicks and Gillette currently have the club up for sale for £600-800 million and say they have several interested parties.
