Can't see Gerrard really giving it much thought.

Not joining Chelsea was no big deal, and he's remained at a club where he's highly thought of. He's still got the chance to make a major move to a club with tradition and the chance of honours.

Those death threats were completely genuine, I have a scouse mate who is a reliable source. Apparently not the sort of people you cross of things get carried out very professionally so i'd be inclined to say gerrard values his life over playing for Chelsea.
