Cameroon was memorable, as was the Belgian game, as was the Dutch game.
Guess you had to have been there or not a teenager etc, etc.


That's all well again but there was me thinking the discussion was about 'a good start'

Apart from the last minute how was the Belguim game memorable? The Dutch game was even worse.

Italia '90 captured the nation but in no way can this have been because of the footbal from the england team, until the semi at least and even then that wasn't really until the second half
