4-0 Cameroon. Eto'o with two. Finally some goals at the World Cup.

Japan has won twice and draws once in International A matches against Cameroon. Cameroon side had Bikey against Japan two years ago which Japan won 2-0.
This time, Japan will field four defenders and six midfielders. I mean we will not start proper striker.
I am hoping that we win 1-0, but result of 0-0 or 1-1 will be good enough. Japan concedes goals so easily in last 15 min, as we always run out of steam.
One to watch is Nagatomo, Japanese side back who is going to meet up with Eto. He is very confident of stopping him. He is 24 years old and plays for FC Tokyo, and I am sure that a European club will snatch him up after WC.

Difficult to see past a Cameroon win, and they are just short of 7/5 on Betfair, a great bet imho.

Japan lost their last home friendly 3-0 to Serbia, and then lost of South Korea, England and Ivory Coast in warm-up games. They don't score many goals and Cameroon's defence is half-decent. No Bikey, which is a shame.

2-0 Cameroon.

Cameroonian size, pace and flair against Japanese structure and composure

That and those f*cking horns --'bout what we knew was coming, in other words

It is on, but I am not exactly riveted. Wouldn't bother if I hadn't had a bet and feeling dead lazy.

Decent goal but very sloppy marking from Cameroon.

Right on the heels of the Cameroonians' own best chance of the match, too

This really isn't too hard on the eyes, and now a goal's been scored, I expect a pretty lively second 45 minutes

Shocked to see us scored first goal!
But I must confess that Japan were only side who score first and lost the match in previous world Cup in Germany.
(We were one up against Australia, then Cahill scored twice in last 10minutes of the game).

Without A Song (of Arsenal), Cameroon seems not to have a power to go forward.

Here comes Second half. I will be still happy with a draw.

Was hoping Japan scored first, if anyone was gonna score it would have been Cameroon. Now need an equalizer...

Cameroon aren't much interested in defending in their own half --which leads me to wonder why Japan keep forcing the action in attack and quickly conceding possession

If they're a goal down and willing to stand off and let you knock it around for a few minutes, then by all means do

Oooh that was close- thought my bet was over. Looks like another win for me....unfortunately I don't think my £9.60 is going to help me retire! Nice bottle of wine perhaps.

Great result for the Japanese. Denmark didn't look great, so they've got to be favourites for the second spot in the group now.
