Northampton Carling Cup Round two

Good to see the club have been sensible in the pricing for this game. Taken from the os:

The club have significantly reduced ticket prices for our Carling Cup round two game at home to Northampton Town, kick off 8pm on Tuesday 24th August.

To reward our loyal supporters, and in particular our season ticket holders, we have have heavily discounted all ticket prices as a thank you for your continued backing, and these are the cheapest adult tickets for any home game in ten years.

Season ticket holders have rightly been given the most generous reduction during a priority booking period, with their tickets starting from just £2 for u16s and £7 for adults.

Full pricing details are as follows:

Season ticket holders' advance ticket prices - available until 5pm Wednesday 18th August
Under 16s £2
65 & over £5
17-21s £5
Adults £7

Non-season ticket holders, in advance
Under 16s £3
65 & over £7
17-21s £7
Adults £10

All purchases on the day of the game; 24th August
Under 16s £5
65 & over £10
17-21s £10
Adults £12

Tickets will be on sale to all supporters from 9am this Friday 13th August. Telephone 0844 249 1871 or visit the Madejski Stadium Ticket Office in person to book.

Good. It's blue collar, 'ard as nails, alcoholic and offensive fans like you that are preventing the evolution of the match day experience for new proper fans.

I like it how the club are making out they're doing everyone a massive favour, when it's just plain commercial sense not to charge full whack for a game people aren't that bothered about attending.

If they really wanted to "reward" the fans - why not drop the prices for the next league game?

What and disadvantage us STH's (who stump up the club's capital funds each year)?

Disgraceful suggestion

Yes. We should have been told about this before renewing our season tickets...
