Mad Dog's Ghost Pea,
Gate Saturday was about 1,300 up on Scunthorpe. Forest brought about 2,000 more than Scunny. So about 700 fewer RFC fans Saturday. Surprising. I'd have thought Forest would be a bigger draw. Perhaps the 'pay on the day' fans deem £27 too much for the quality that's been dished up so far?

brendywendy A- its probably best to wait till a few games in, and get past the summer holidays to judge the attendances, and B:
it wouldnt really be a shocker if we lost a few fans, espcially with all the "where has all the money gone"ing, and "why arent we buying anyone"ing going on

There have been top flight games with attendances of 7000.
For example, Chelsea v Soton, 1st Division in 1992.
