Weekend Football 18/19th September

by Thomas L'Heureux » 18 Sep 2010 16:27

Because of Merson saying Newcastle were by far the better team I put £20 on them to score the first goal and thought I'd load up a stream to watch it.

Hatem Ben Arfa's just scored on his first start for the club, and WHAT a goal it was!

Gylfi also scores for Hoffenheim.

TBF, there is not a lot else he can do with that. Gylfi's goal is a bit special. He will do well.

For someone who everyone was ready to write off a not good enough and too lazy last season.

That Berbatov is alright.

By everyone I obviously mean or national press.

Yahoo:
Manchester United: A standing ovation for Dimitar Berbatov, who is off for a well-earned smoke. Darron Gibson and Anderson replace Berbatov and Nani.

Utd still look dodgy at the back, but Berbatov's hat trick was class. The 2nd goal was pretty special.

Oh and Chelsea race to a two goal lead in the first quarter of an hour against Blackpool. They've taken their feet off the gas in the following few minutes, but I think it'd be fair to say that Blackpool probably won't get anything from this one.

Mourinho almost decapitated one of his assistants last night.
