Germany Under 21 captain, scored 2 goals for Mainz last weekend to put them top of the Bundesliga. English father, German mother, still able to choose which full national team he plays for as he has dual nationality. Says he hasn't made his mind up yet.

I would have thought that If he's captain of Germany's Under 21's, FIFA would consider he's already made his mind up or has Blatter changed the rules again?

He's made his mind up pretty clearly...

However, Holtby, who come through the youth ranks with Germany, has set himself the target of breaking into Joachim Loew's side, and he remarked on television channel ZDF yesterday,

"I have made up my mind and I would like to play for Germany, and my father accepts that."
