Ferris Sven is 1/8 with Victor Chandler.

One over the eight?

He'd need to be unless Leicester are offering stupid money.

Isn't Sven soiled goods now though? Yes, he's quite media savvy and much loved by insane chairmen looking for a name signing but isn't his record since he took the England job a bit shit? England, Man City, Mexico, Notts County, Ivory Coast????

Barry the bird boggler Since Martin O'Neill left in 2000 Leicester have had a manager for every year....

Peter Taylor
Dave Bassett
Micky Adams
Craig Levein
Robert Kelly
Martin Allen
Gary Megson
Ian Holloway
Nigel Pearson
Paulo Sousa

What a nice steady place to be employed.

Sven is being linked now (but then so will every out of work manager so no real surprises there)

That's a crazy list, it seems only yesterday Craig Levein was manager there. Has to be expected with a buffoon like Mandaric in charge.

Thought he was unlucky to get the boot from City - that wasn't performance related, they just wanted a different manager in.

He bought the club in Feb 2007. He let Kelly go and installed Martin Allen. It's still a bad record, but he didn't install half of those managers you listed.

Well, he was signed by one bonkers chairman as a sop to the fans and sacked by another who clearly wanted someone else in. He is clearly the go to man for the mad and desparate with money to throw away.

I think the involvement of Thai investors shouldn't be ignored here. Raksriaksorn, the new owner, received favours (such as being awarded an exclusive contract to run retail at Bangkok Airport) from Thaksin Shinawatra when the latter was Thailand's leader. Old Square-Face having previous associations with Sven makes it all seem too connected to be a coincidence, doesn't it?
