Bellamy Interview on R5L this evening

by Mr Angry » 05 Oct 2010 22:38

Stunning in its frankness, and hugely interesting.

Man Utd were interested, and as a result, Man City helped smooth the path for him to go to Cardiff.

I recall a number of posters bemoaning the fact that we hadn't even gone in for Bellamy as a sure sign that SJM has no ambition in comparison with clubs like Cardiff; Bellamy made it clear that he had promised his family that if he wasn't able to get a move to play Champions League football, he would move back to Cardiff, a club he supported and felt would benefit from him going there both on and off the pitch.

Even teams like Fulham and Everton were rejected by Bellamy in favour of Cradiff, so all those idiots who used his going to Cardiff as an example of SJM not having ambition, please fell free to make a public apology.

Yes I heard this but what struck me most was how appalling the interviewer was. It was hardly a meeting of minds was it?

PLainly had no relationship whatsoever with Mancini though and he did refer to Cardiff as "going home" throughout the interview.

Mags - it's just another example of BBC news dumbing down. I get so frustrated with BBC reporters who do not research their items.

For example: The Hastings peir fire where the reporter basically said the pier had been standing for "Many, many years".

What exactly are Spoony's qualifications/skills that got him a job as a sports reporter? Admittedly not knowing anything doesn't appear to hold back many sports reporters but surely someone at the BBC must listen to him and think "he's rubbish isn't he". I demand that James Richardson does every single TV and Radio sports programme from now on. If he needs a couple of hours off a week then Danny Baker can do a phone-in show.

Don't - I was literally shaking with anger when I heard it.

Was actually suprised that Spoony managed to work out that Bellamy was hinting at Man Utd.

*pause* "is you saying like, Man Utd?!"

:x

He talks like most of the team board posters type, so maybe that's the audience it's aimed at.

He may well have been telling the truth, I am just very sceptical over players saying these types of things.

Like Harry Redknapp claiming that Van Der Vaart was on his way to Bayern Munich for double the price he paid the day before he signed him. It's nothing more than desperately bullsh*tting your way into getting a good reputation with gullible fans

Did people on here say that about Bellamy?
How stupid-Everybody knew that Bellamy would only go to Cardiff in the Championship.
BTW does the mad man have any ambition for RFC?
Perhaps somebody ought to start it as a topic.
