Schards#2 ALOL @ Man Utd fans booing their (unbeaten) team off the pitch yesterday.
A new level of fickleness has been attained. There only a couple more draws away from an effergy.

Seal ...I suggest you go to the Emirates.
Went to the Arsenal v Brum game today, and my god the Arsenal fans make Reading fans look like the Kop in the 1970s. Embarrassing.
Particular highlights:-
- A total of two chants - 1) "Who are ya" at the Brum fans when Arsenal scored. 2) "Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal" ad infinitum
- Exceptional periods of complete silence - causing an American I was with to say "I thought soccer was supposed to be noisy?"
- Moaning at every single failed pass, even when winning 2-1
- Focusing anger on a particular scapegoat for all of Arsenal's failings...Diaby seems to be the new target, although when Bendtner came on he took on the mantle seamlessly
- A complete lack of support for the team when 1-0 down. "Fcking typical Arsenal! Useless!" was one of the comments near me
- Leaving with 10 minutes to go when 2-1 up and the game poised
- And this one was the worst for me...applauding Jack Wilshere when he was sent off for a very bad challenge, as Zigic lay on the floor in clear pain (with no idea at this stage how serious the injury was). Bearing in mind all the 'injustice' that Arsenal players suffer, I thought it showed astonishing hypocrisy to applaud Wilshere.
Complete bunch of c@nts basically!
The grass is not always greener. Maybe fat Barry and the drummer aren't so bad after all!

bloody Volvo driver but we were voted the noisest / livliest fans to visit Vicarage Road last season (4-4-2)

bloody Volvo driver I still maintain we are always too hard on ourselves. Granted as a whole we aren't the most passionate lot (Saturday in particular wasn't brilliant), but we were voted the noisest / livliest fans to visit Vicarage Road last season (4-4-2), so there is the odd glimmer of noise.
However, I think the biggest acid test is the fact that we went 17 home games without a league win, and on the whole didn't turn on the team, gates didn't fall etc. Would the same thing happen at Molineaux / St Andrews (who turned on there players after their first home defeat in almost a year) / Emirates / OT (I could go on). Would it heckers like.
We aren't the noisest, most volatile (some would say that isn't a bad thing) or pasionate, but we are a lot better than most give credit for.
