So, regardless of what Wimbledon fans think, is it ok for a neutral to hope Franchise do end up visiting Merton, and lose massively?

Woking held Brighton and have a home replay for a game against FC United of Manchester, FC United in the 3rd round might have just got a step closer.

So you reckon FC United can beat Woking at their ground but Brighton cant? :?

Who knows, it was more that they have potential non-league opposition, as oppose to drawing another league team in Round 2.

Look out on ESPN tonight for the Management of ITV Sport to be at Ebbsfleet decked out in AFC Wimbledon colours and passing brown envelopes to the match officials. Now that their choice of televised second round tie has been wrecked by Stevenage's win at MK they will even more desperately want AFC Wimbledon to be involved so they can get Lawrie Sanchez out again and show old footage of a completely different Club's (one that no longer exists) F A Cup win in which he scored the winner. I think they will struggle to hype up an Ebbsfleet - Stevenage clash although they could still work on the website ownership thing I suppose. Come on Ebbsfleet.

+ fecking 1. Why choose your games until the replays have been played? ESPN are f*cking idiots, they deserved to be murked by their own sensationalist angle.

Think they were just getting in their first - before ITV took the game.

Bit of a bummer for a 2nd round draw.

Don't AFC Wimbledon play in the London Borough of Kingston? I know that they are desperate to get back to Merton but unless the ConDem governement have been changing the boundaries again...

Sorry, I thought you wanted to know who Reading were playing in the league on FA Cup 2nd round weekend. Silly me. I should have realised you were trying to be humerous.

Good point. The question's irrelevant now, anyway. But it reminded me of something though, I've always wondered how Kingstonian fans feel about AFC taking over their ground. I don't know too much about the situation beyond some financial difficulties at Kingstonian leading to tenants becoming landlords. Is there any resentment at this?

Did anyone see the game last night?

Very strange incident when the ref got in the way of a pass.

The ball was going in his direction, along the ground, and not very fast, so getting out of the way should have been no problem.

Instead he decided to crouch down facing the ball, then roll over onto his back like a dying fly, and just stayed there until the ball rolled and hit him on the arse.

I must admit to being somewhat intrigued about this too. Smacks ever so slightly of double standards. And what will happen should AFC Wimbledon ever get to move back to Merton? What happens to Kingsmeadow and Kingstonian then?
