Weekend Football - November 20/21

by Starfish » 20 Nov 2010 13:14

Arsenal take an early lead - Nasri has been exceptional this season so far. Gallas gets booed. And etc.

The move that resulted in their second began inside their own penalty area; this cannot happen!

Fab whiffed on their clearest chance of the match in between, and it could be even more still

How does Gomez ever get a game for Spurs?

Nasri looked outstanding for France in midweek. He is the type of player that England lack.

Did Nasri snub Gallas as handshaking?

^ Oui, per Adrian Healey and Efan Ekoku on the ESPN stream

Arsenal'll concede the obligatory soft goal at some point after the break, so they need at least one more to put this 'un somewhere closer to bed

And as predicted above, Gareth Bale pops up. Don't think it was a soft one though

Still plenty of time!

Could've been thwarted in the buildup, too --but I'm not claiming it lol

A Tottenham supporting Aldershot fan posting on a Reading forum.. right. You're 'arry will have to keep Spurs in the top four this season otherwise your smugness will be a distant memory. Arsenal will finish top four as per their expectations, while Tottenham have spent big and now need to match their recent over achievements, and that wont be easy with Man City wanting your spot!

Chelsea beaten again. :D
Bkackpool rack up another three points. Wolves continue to suffer the Stephen Hunt effect, otherwise known as Second Season Syndrome.
Newcastle stuffed 5-1 at Bolton.

I'd rather they won the league than Arse or Manure. So this wasn't a great day in that respect if Manure has made a gain.

Are Chelsea missing Terry and Lampard?
